Rainbow Outfit / Not a Rainbow Weather

Hiiii people,

I braved the cold to have these pictures taken. I could not feel my arms after. Shout out to Kate Upton for doing the same (well not the same) in Antarctica. It is hard to be stylish in such a coooold weather but I'm doing my best. Anywhooo, here is a very classic outfit of mine: t-shirt, jeans, and my latest obsession purple tims! 

Everyone is rocking these shoes & I LOVE THEM. They go with everything: dresses, shorts, jeans… And they go with every weather. You can pair them with a hoodie also, like I did in my very first post on this blog. Hope you still enjoy my blog because I'm loving this virtual adventure.

By the way, these photos were taken in front the main building of my so-loved university UOttawa.

Salut à tous où que vous soyez dans le monde francophone, 

Tout d'abord, le parc enneigé que vous voyez c'est mon université et celles de 40000 autres personnes. Donc je vous présente le pavillon principal de l'Université d'Ottawa. 

Ensuite, il faisait -9 degrés lorsque j'ai décidé d'enlever mon manteau et de prendre ces photos. Je fais de mon mieux pour ne pas ressembler un boudin dans un manteau en hiver, parce que c'est vraiment difficile de bien s'habiller et de ne pas mourir d'hypothermie. 

J'ai choisi une tenue des plus simples et confortables. J'adore mes chaussures Timberland qui vont avec tout et avec tout type de météo. J'ai porté les mêmes en marron dans mon tout premier post sur le blog.

Hiii fashion lovers !

The snow is back in Ottawa. I'm BEYOND happy, I love seeing this city painted in white. So I went out, in front of my house and took pictures wearing this wintery look, very girly and simple with light make-up. My bangs are wet from the snow that's why they look so weird.

La neige est de retour mes amies ! Je suis tellement contente, plus il neige moins je vois les gens (haha?). Voyant qu'il neigeait, je suis sortie devant chez moi pour prendre des photos. Un look en 3 mots: simple, chic, et féminin. Excusez ma frange, elle est mouillée. 

Envoyez moi vos photos avec votre style hivernal. J'adorerais avoir de l'inspiration pour d'autres looks. C'est vraiment difficile de bien s'habiller dans un pays aussi froid, mais il faut faire avec !

Lately, I have been lacking beauty and inspiration in my life. I was overwhelmed by questions that didn't seem to have answer, a weird feeling of deja-vu & some insanity. I needed to get everything out through what I know best: creation. Below, you will find a video I made earlier this day. It's an ode to every feeling and stage in life. Love, freedom, anger, loss, destruction, happiness, nostalgia, rise & falls...You will have a glimpse of my (usually) very private artistic universe (Lana Del Rey, Grace Kelly: my biggest inspiration, Hilary Duff, Las Vegas, Umm Kulthum, Woodstock Festival, among many others). I chose the song "The Funeral - Band of Horses" for almost the same reasons as I chose those videos. It's a song about having to face death and loss over and over in life. At some point, it is just a habit and we're always ready for the funeral.
